You may be aware that all Martin & Co branches are independently owned and operated as franchises and as such it is likely that there will be differing standards of customer service and fee structures across the 170 businesses. My name is Carl and I am a Director and co-owner of the Sheffield North branch. We always invite comments and feedback from both tenants and landlords and always try to reply and where possible solve the problem if we have fallen short of our aims of customer service excellence. I believe your post is the only negative comment about the Sheffield North branch on this forum and obviously I would like the opportunity to talk to you about your experience. Regarding your specific complaint (of which I haven't received so have been unable to respond), it is very unfortunate but can occasionally happen that after booking and confirming appointments we are then unable to gain access through situations outside our control.
