Horrible experience! Rented a very expensive furnished rental in Chelsea with agent (David), based in Marylabone office. He was arrogant with a major attitude. The flat which was supposed to have working Internet (part of my rental agreement) did not work the entire time! This impacted my job. Neither the agent nor the maintenance office did anything about it! I have rented several properties in London before this was the WORST experience. Having spoken to other agents from other rental agencies ALL said that FOXTONS is know for providing terrible customer service. Please stay away!

I have had the same experience, I kept up my payments and terms of the the tenancy for foxtins and the landlord to breach there’s, no heating 11 months and excess draughts, property manager Jan Taylor said ‘well you didn’t need heating in the summer’. She wouldn’t attend the flat - she judged every problem on her own home, not taking into account London apartments don’t have gas, don’t have radiators, don’t have normal windows, she was too lazy to come rounding 2 and half years. ...

Just wanted to chime in that I’ve recently had the same experience with them calling to say that I need to pay some more/sign documents in a very short timeframe despite me having already paid the SECURITY DEPOSIT (which was 5 weeks’ rent), otherwise they will ‘have to’ give the flat to somebody else. They also did not stop advertising the flat on rightmove/zoopla/on their portal. I too thought it was odd and was glad that in the end I was able to pull out to rent from other agencies, an ...
