I am delighted for the opportunity to write a review about the priceless contributions of the Beresford Team in our journey to becoming a buy to let landlord. It’s being quite a roller coaster ride!
The proactiveness of the Mortgage Adviser, Pindar, enabled us to beat the deadline of a good mortgage rate offer with few hours left.
Finding a suitable property in the right location was an uphill task. After several weeks of scouring the market, endless property viewings and disappointments, we were signposted to 10 Wren Road. To be honest I was sceptical about getting the property. The openness and Professionalism of the Rob who conducted me around during the viewing, encouraged us to put in an offer and pray to get it accepted by the seller.
The offer acceptance was followed by several months of waiting for the necessary probate paperwork to come through. It was like waiting forever! Throughout the long wait, the Beresford Team kept us posted all the way. Holly Hall and other members of the Team were exceptional in giving regular updates.
Without their constant communication and reassurance, we would have walked away. It was a nail-biting wait; we were able to exchange contract within the 2 weeks of grace after expiration of the mortgage offer. Thank you Guys, we are forever grateful to you and to God.
We are personally thankful to Karen for her guidance on the refurbishment and decoration works required to get the property to a good shape suitable for tenancy.
Her first visit to the property was thorough, nothing missed her attention to details. She went through long list of improvements required. From jet-washing the walkway to make it more presentable, to removal of existing polystyrene ceiling tiles for statutory reasons, removal of bathroom barrel locks for health and safety reasons, changing old electrical switches etc and the urgent need to obtain building Landlord insurance ASAP before start of the renovation / redecoration works. It was a long list and every item on it was necessary.
Furthermore, she explained with clarity, details of the professional fees that will be charged for Beresfords services and offered some generous discount as an encouragement. We are so grateful for her wisdom and guidance.
Next was the uphill task of getting suitable Tenant. With many interests from prospective Occupants, the meticulous efforts of Karen’s Letting Team made it far easier to identify the right Tenants with good credit rating for the property.
Without the five-star performance / professionalism of the Beresford Team and God’s help, we will not have been able to record success this far. I highly recommend their Team to anyone considering embarking on buy to let property rental journey. It is always good to be guided by those who know and have proofs to show for it. Thank you.
