Very similar experience myself. They were misleading on their fees, "forgot" to tell me about add ons. Put my house up for sale for much less than it was worth - which led to 7 viewings in first day. 1st buyer took 5 months to get their mortgage declined, 2nd buyer another 3 months to get mortgage declined. Called another local proper agent, they said its worth far more, now sold for asking price and its completing next week, I wish I had never used Purple Bricks. Still had to pay them £1,299 f ...

They told me if after 10 months there was no sale I didn’t have to pay. Now they sent me a bill for 4,280 pounds . They kept changing agents and didn’t hear from them for months . At one point I had to do the viewing myself because the agent kept changing they would come to my house knowing anything about the property. Can anyone advise me how to get out of this 10 month’s contract. I can’t pay that fee. It’s ridiculous to have to pay 4,280 pounds and they lied telling me after the 10 ...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
