I rented with Accommod8 in 2008/2009 and am not surprised to see that the company has not improved since. We experienced exactly the same problems 5 years ago as everyone seems to be experiencing now. It seems like Accommod8 will never learn from their mistakes.
Our problems included: a window falling off it's hinges and therefore would not shut (this was not fixed for months despite it being winter and therefore freezing outside), the bathroom floor started to fall away which again took ages to fix despite the risk of the shower falling through to the ground floor, there was a bad smell when we moved in which turned out to be a dead rat under the sink, we had an ant infestation (from day 1) that they refused to deal with, the internet always went down and this would not be looked out unless it was Mon-Fri (it was centrally controlled for all of the houses so we were unable to look at it) and many other issues I have tried to forget.
Responses were always slow and often you had to chase, although again this rarely helped. Going to the office didn't help either, creating a very frustrating situation.
Leaving the property didn't help as then the deposit debate ensued. Accommod8 tried to take more than half of our desposit for ridiculous items including 'missing hoover attachments' which never existed and were not actually on the check-in inventory. Why on earth would I steal hoover attachments for a hoover I didn't own? We were also accused of stealing the key for the fire alarm box which 'coincedentally' had dispeared just after the last Accommod8 inspection. We were also charged for cleaning of the property and replacement sofas, despite fully cleaning the property upon leaving and the fact that the sofas were ripped when we arrived.
We fought back against the deposit deductions with TDS and managed to get a big chunk of it back. It took months but it was worth it.
One final comment, it's pretty clear to me that the majority of positive comments below were written by Accommod8 themselves, as anyone who has rented with the company will be able to tell. Don't be fooled!
And one tip for Accommod8, you may want to hire someone to work on your SEO. Have you seen your front page on Google? It's the worst SEO I have ever seen for a company. Anyone who Googles you will know exactly what you're company is about - making money any way you can and treating your tenants like dirt.
Whatever you do, don't rent with Accommod8.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Employing even one person with knowledge on customer service would be a start. Not sure there is anything they could ever do now to change my opinion of them.

Thank you for your review.
We consider all reviews and comments about what we do and I hope my response will provide an acceptable explanation.
You lived in our accommodation 5 years ago and I can confidently state our current tenants will not experience the same or similar problems you have alleged.
I am aware in 2008 we had problems with repairs and maintenance at Heritage Court as the owner of that site undertook to carry out all repairs and maintenance using their own contractors, not under our control. The provision was inadequate resulting in various problems for tenants which frankly was unacceptable. This arrangement is no longer in place.
All our accommodation is now maintained by our in house maintenance team and I am confident they provide a good level of service.
With regard to deposits we are governed by the strict rules of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) which means we have to justify any proposed deductions from deposits. In the event ex tenants are not satisfied with our procedures they can raise a dispute with the TDS.
In most cases where a dispute is raised with the TDS acommod8 is awarded the deposit which vindicates us and validates our procedures.
Our priority is to ensure our tenants get good service and great value accommodation.
